The License battle continues to rage between football's gaming giants, with the most recent announcement set to be a real blow for EA heading into FIFA 23.
Check below for everything you need to know about the latest license news.
Bayern Munich side with eFootball
Konami has confirmed that Bayern Munich have extended their partnership with eFootball, with the German champions continuing to have their stadium and full squad face-scans EXCLUSIVE to eFootball.
This news will no doubt be a blow to EA Sports and FIFA fans, with hopes of seeing the mighty Allianz Arena return in FIFA 23 completely dashed.
Bayern Munich's stadium has been absent in FIFA for a couple of years and this will continue for the foreseeable future with a multi-year deal agreed between Konami and the German champions.
Instead, we'll all have to get used to seeing Bayern in Sanderson Park once more in FIFA 23.
Following the announcement that Juventus and Konami's exclusive deal had come to an end, there had been hopes that Bayern Munich may follow, but those hopes have been squashed.
The other major side that currently has their stadium absent in FIFA is Barcelona, with no news yet on the status of the Nou Camp.
Juventus set for FIFA 23 Return
Juventus are set for a return to FIFA 23 following the expiry of their exclusive deal with eFootball.
Juventus' inclusion in eFootball was a big draw for many players and the fact they are no longer exclusive to the game represents a big blow for Konami.
Whilst this is disappointing for eFootball moving forward, fans can breathe a sigh of relief that Juventus won't actually be departing the game.
According to Konami's statement, Juventus will remain in eFootball on both console and mobile versions.
Fans can get excited that we will be seeing at least one Allianz stadium in FIFA 23.
