2021 has begun, and with it comes a returning FUT promo!
The Headliners promo has thrown out some classic cards over the years - that CAM Neymar Jr on FIFA 20 was a sight to behold - but who can we expect to see this year?
Release Date
The FUT Headliners promo will begin today - Friday, January 1.
The squad will be released later this evening, at 6pm GMT.
What to Expect
There will be the release of the first Headliners squad, around 14 players are expected to feature, alongside one SBC card and one Objectives player.
Plenty more SBC cards are expected to be added across the course of the next seven days, so keep an eye on RealSport for all the information you need to know.
Predictions
We know that the squad will focus on those players that have had a fast start to their campaigns in real life, but who will EA select?
We've had three players teased already, one from Monaco, one centre forward and one Brazilian. You can find our predictions for those cards here.
The likes of Bruno Fernandes and Heung Min Son are likely to be in with a shout after a fantastic start to their respective Premier League campaigns.
Could we see a second consecutive Headliners appearance for Robert Lewandowski? With two informs already this year, it could happen.
Ratings
So how exactly do the FUT Headliners ratings work?
Headliners are essentially another batch of One to Watch players, with each Headliner card receiving an upgrade each time that player picks up a special card - TOTW, MOTM, Hero, Record Breaker and Team Of The Tournament - until the end of their domestic season.
There's the potential for some BIG upgrades here, will you be investing in one?
