We can't believe we're finally looking at Final Fantasy XIV's Endwalker Expansion - and a release date that shouldn't be delayed, again. Endwalker was originally due to launch on November 23rd, following a COVID-related development delay. However, we're now looking at seeing Endwalker a little later. Here's everything you need to know.
RELEASE DATE - When does Endwalker come out?
Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker, the fourth major expansion to the hit Final Fantasy MMORPG, is going to launch on December 7th. Yes, we're being serious this time! Early Access is scheduled for December 3rd, too - which you can check out details on below:
It's been pushed back due to COVID-19 - and then it was delayed again for a couple of weeks - but now we're finally going to see the update drop. It's time to confront the Garlean Empire and tune into what's been pitched as the "Finale" of the Hydaelyn-Zodiark narrative arc.
It might be the end of the current story, but Final Fantasy XIV isn't going anywhere. Square Enix has confirmed that this MMORPG is going to be around for at least the next five years - with content plans laid out and ready to go.
WHAT TO EXPECT - The next FF14 expansion...
Endwalker is going to be a huge expansion for Final Fantasy XIV and it's a release date you won't want to miss.
There's going to be two new jobs added to Final Fantasy XIV, which you can check out below:
- Sage - A healer that can also create defensive barriers and buff their offensive capabilities;
- Reaper - A armoured scythe-wielding melee fighter who can call on the void for great power;
In addition to this, the Level Cap is going to be raised to 90 and there's going to be a new set of Story Missions and a new area to explore - just like the other Final Fantasy XIV expansions.
More information is set to be released soon and we can't wait to find out more about how this saga is going to come to an end in Endwalker next month.
