According to the leaks, the upcoming patch is set to introduce several key gameplay adjustments, including:

  • Bruiser+ PlayStyle buffed
  • Physical tackles improved
  • Authentic Gameplay Kick-Off glitch nerfed
  • Finesse shot bug fixed
  • Trivela shot bug fixed
  • Block animation fixed
  • Improved Be A GK mode
  • Additional minor fixes and gameplay polish

Bruiser + Buff Gets Stronger

The Bruiser+ PlayStyle is receiving a much-needed buff, as the PlayStyle has been quite underwhelming since the release of FC 26. Players with the Bruiser+ will use their physicality more and in a more effective way, and that will be reflected the most in shoulder-to-shoulder plays.

With these buffs, players with the Bruiser+ PlayStyle, especially midfielders and defenders, will be much more dominant and have a significantly bigger impact in the game.

Defensive Gameplay Upgrades

Defense looks set to get a noticeable upgrade. Players can expect more reliable defensive reactions and fewer annoying misreads due to enhanced physical tackles and a fixed block animation. This should make AI defense much better, but it won't eliminate the skill gap in manual defense that most of the community has been enjoying.

Fixes to Shooting Mechanics

The patch is also expected to address issues with Finesse and Trivela shots. These have caused frustration because of visual and animation inconsistencies. Once fixed, these shot types should feel smoother, more accurate, and visually realistic, making the long-range curlers and outside foot assists much more satisfying.

Kick-Off Glitch Finally Nerfed

One of the most popular fixes in this update is the nerf to the Authentic Gameplay Kick-Off glitch. Previously, players could exploit this mechanic to score immediately after kickoff due to overly passive AI behavior. By making AI players more responsive, the Kick-Off glitch is fixed.

Improved Be A GK Experience

Goalkeepers are also expected to receive attention in this update, with "Improved Be A GK" listed among the leaks. This could mean smoother animations, better positioning, and more reliable saves in both offline and online modes.

What’s Next?

While none of these updates have been officially confirmed by EA Sports yet, both leakers have strong records when it comes to FC leaks. If the leaks are accurate, this patch will definitely be one of the most impactful updates to FC 26 so far.
