EA Sports and the FC 26 development team have compiled the ongoing technical, gameplay, and more specific issues currently being investigated. These bugs are known to affect features across PC, consoles, Clubs, Ultimate Team, Career, Matchmaking, and more.

FC 26 Bug Tracker: Issues Under Investigation

Here are all the issues under investigation:

Gameplay & Input

  • On PC, some controllers stop registering input during gameplay.
  • In Kick Off, defensive positioning sometimes enables unintentional attacking opportunities.
  • Changes to the CPU/AI sliders in Kick Off may not save after switching AI behavior.
  • Stadium shadows may still appear even when the corresponding graphic setting is turned off.

Ultimate Team & Multiplayer

  • Some players in North America are unable to connect to FUT services.
  • After completing Ultimate Team onboarding, a stability issue may occur on the Squad Screen.
  • The Home dropdown menu may become inaccessible in Ultimate Team.
  • Squad assignments set in UT are sometimes not saved when entering a match.
  • A visual bug occurs when viewing Rivals Weekly Rewards.
  • Path to Pro objective groups are not consistently tracking progress.
  • In Clubs/Co-op, some players cannot progress into multiplayer gameplay after accepting a co-op invite.

Clubs, Objectives & Seasonal Progress

  • Seasonal & foundational objectives sometimes fail to track progress.
  • Reward notification badges appear on all Objective tabs, even when irrelevant.
  • When trying to change the in-game language on Switch, players may be redirected to the store.
  • An incorrect “Golden Goal” message can appear after a live event match.
  • Searching for a League Match in Clubs may lead to a “Connection to Lobby Lost” error.

Career & Player Mode

  • When simming matches, players sometimes leave your club unexpectedly (workaround noted).
  • Tattoos added to the Player Career avatar during customization may not save.
  • Some match objectives in Player Career fail to track or register properly.

Graphics, Settings & Miscellaneous

  • On PC, graphic settings may reset when entering the Game Settings menu or switching tabs.
  • In Kick Off/gameplay, the CPU/slider settings may fail to persist under certain UI transitions.

Additional Notes & Player Reports

  • Multiple users have reported that after completing Path to Pro / Venturing Out / Diving In objectives, they are unable to claim rewards or register completion. 
  • There are widespread complaints of low FPS, lag, input delay, and performance degradation on PC.
  • Issues around objective tracking (especially in UT / Path to Pro) remain a recurring player grievance.
