Konami has confirmed the biggest shake-up of eFootball in some time with its new 2024/25 update which is now live for players to download.
This is the first update to eFootball for the new season and brings a whole host of changes based on community feedback as well as new gameplay features.
What's new in eFootball?
The latest update introduces a few changes to gameplay, both on the pitch and in your team management.
The new finesse dribble offers enhanced control and strategic depth in every match, allowing players more tactical options in how their team performs on the field.
A new automatic player progression system simplifies training, allowing players to focus on the game rather than balance a complex system. Players can also reset progression without spending GP which is an excellent change.
Konami has also improved player freedom by removing contract limits from the game. This means no more expired contracts so gamers can field all their players regardless of when they were signed.
Finally, a new booster slot system will allow you to apply one of 17 unique boosters to players, with legendary players such as Ronaldinho, Ludovic Giuly, and Deco featuring Epic cards in this update.
New Campaigns
There are plenty of new campaigns in eFootball for players to dive into.
Special login presents featuring Robert Lewandowski and Leroy Sane await in the Startup Campaign, while players can complete the "Skill Up" tutorial to earn a Showtime Messi card along with other goodies as part of the free login bonuses.
There are also special Ambassador Editions for Messi and Neymar, offering 10 world-class players!
eFootball's first 2024/25 update comes as club football returns from the September international break, so it's the perfect time to dive into eFootball!
