The DOTA 2 Pro Circuit has reached the last tour before the International 2022, which is the final destination of competitive DOTA.

The tournament, with the biggest prize pool in e-sports, will be hosted in South East Asia for the first time ever as Singapore is waiting for the best 20 teams in the world.

TI 11 will be celebrated during October, but we already have the name of the first qualifiers in this competition! Here are all the latest details.

DOTA 2 International 2022 Schedule

The International 2022 will run in Singapore from October 8th to October 30th.

The event will be divided into three stages:

  • Last Round Qualifiers. (Oct 8 – Oct 12)
    • 12 teams will compete for the last 2 tickets
  • Group Stage (Oct 15 – Oct 18)
    • The best 20 teams in the 6 regions compete
  • The Main Event, (Oct 20 – Oct 26)

The DOTA Pro Circuit (DPC) was established after the International 2017 to replace the direct invite system.

The DOTA 2 Pro Circuit is a competition that rewards teams with spots for the International. Teams get DPC points, by participating in the Three Majors, 3 Tours, and the Regional Qualifiers.

Mathematically, there are already two teams in the DOTA 2 International 2022.

  • PSG.LGD, the strongest team from China, was in the final of the last International.
  • TSM. FTX, the North American, was the runner-up in Stockholm.
    • DOTA 2's return to big tournaments in the US with the Arlington Major will be their big opportunity.

With more than one thousand DPC points, the following teams are also nearly qualified for The International 2022.

  • OG
  • Gaimin Gladiators
  • Thunder Awaken

Six tickets will go to the champion of each Regional Tournament, and the last two wildcards will be contested during the Final Round Stage in Singapore.
