Warzone 2 and DMZ are now well underway, and a ton of new content and new weapons have arrived in both since launch. Season 2 is now right around the corner, and lots of big changes are expected, but DMZ has already seen the first major addition since its launch.
Building 21 was rumoured to drop with Season 1 Reloaded but actually came later under the radar. You'd be forgiven for missing it entirely, but the rewards for getting inside are well worth it. Here's everything you need to know.

Where is Building 21 in DMZ?
Building 21 is actually not located in Al Mazrah, but has been released as a separate location entirely. When deploying, you'll have the choice in the menu to choose between Al Mazrah and Building 21, but there is another important step to get inside.
The new location is touted as the hardest challenge DMZ players will have faced yet, and it lives up to the hype. While the rewards are great, you'll need the perfect balance of skill and teamwork to get out alive and extract with your loot.
To get inside, you'll need an access card, which you'll have to obtain from Al Mazrah, just as an extra challenge. Here's everything you need to know to get your hands on one.
How to get an Access Card in DMZ
There are a number of access cards you can obtain for Building 21, the first being the standard one used for entry. These spawn randomly in Orange supply boxes and supply drops in Al Mazrah, so keep your eyes peeled.
You can also get a Building 21 Access Card by killing a Commander in DMZ. In addition to the Building 21 Access Card, there are Red and Blue Access Cards that grant entry into locked rooms in Building 21 that hold high-tier Contraband.
The final access card is the black card, which you'll only be able to obtain once inside Building 21. Defeat the boss within and he will drop the card, which can be used to access the best loot.
Building 21 Loot
Building 21 houses some of the best loot you can obtain in DMZ, including the new Chimera AR and much more. Along with tons of loot, you can use in-game, there is an abundance of weapon cases, containing the following:
- Going Bark Weapon Charm
- Weapon Rover Calling Card
- Roar Weapon Sticker
- Company Sniper Emblem
- Camo Cloud Vehicle Skin
- Silver Tox Chimera Blueprint
This will certainly be a challange for even seasoned DMZ players, as you'll have to contend with heavily armed soldierschallenge and other squads. If you're up to the task though, don't be afraid to give it a go.
