Destiny 2 is a huge game that adapted from the already huge first game. As well as this, it gets a little bigger every single week with new Osiris Maps and new locations for the Xur.
This week, we've got some pretty strange news as data miners have found themselves in possession of a new item. Here's everything you need to know about Destiny 2's Spicy Ramen Emblem.
What is The Spicy Ramen Emblem?
There are going to be a few spoilers here to go through why this emblem has importance to the Destiny community. If you don't want to see them, move forward to the next section that will be spoiler-free.
Cayde-6 is a fan favourite Exo character. He was well-liked for being a little facetious and funny, despite it all. Unfortunately, he was killed in Forsaken, dying to his own hand cannon. He was well-known for liking spicy ramen and many fans have decided to memorialize him through this past time.
What is The Drama?
Data miners managed to discover this emblem sitting in the game's files and have started selling it to players desperate enough to get their hands on it.
They access the game's API, essentially a way that the team stores their art and assets ahead of use. It's not illegal or particularly hard to access but, for many, spoils the future of the game.
As explained by a senior community manager in the above tweet, this emblem was intended to give away to players for free on Bungie Day, July 7th. Do not buy this emblem, you will get it for free in just a few weeks, as intended. It's not worth buying it just to get it early.
