What's Being Fixed?

In Cyberpunk 2077 update 1.23 we see loads of fixes for specific quest and open world issues. The quest receiving the biggest adjustment is The Heist, an early mission in the game that suffered from multiple issues.

In this patch, seven issues with the mission are fixed including enemies not spawning in required areas and Jackie getting stuck at certain points in the quest, halting progress entirely.

Some of the open world fixes include fixing a bug with carjacking. It would sometimes be that you would kill and NPC and steal their car, but the body would get caught in the car and dragged along and glitch out.

The appearance of Johnny Silverhand has also been fixed. Issues had arisen with his spectral form in certain quests and it could cause visual abnormalities.

PC Specific Fixes

One big fix for the PC version of the game is the Alt+Enter feature. This prompt triggers a window to go full screen but for Cyberpunk 2077, before this update, the window and game in-general would likely become unresponsive and require a restart.

Beyond this, there are some resolution fixes and updates around the notification for game data integrity. This means if there is any corrupted data or game files the launcher will now recognize this and inform you so you can verify the files and fix the issue.

Xbox Specific Fixes

There are only two fixes for the Xbox version and both are minor issues, but it's of course nice to see them fixed regardless. First was an problem where if the Xbox guide was closed and the game un-paused in quick succession, the pause menu would reappear automatically.

The other fix is for if your Xbox profile becomes signed out for any reason during a scene fading-out. The the game would become unresponsive and require a restart. Both fixes are quite specific, but they are needed nonetheless and clearly have been affecting some players.
