LATEST - Cyberpunk 2077 PS Store Return Date Confirmed
We now have confirmation that Cyberpunk 2077 will return to the PlayStation store on 21 June 2021. This was confirmed to Stephen Totilo by CD Projekt Red.
Sony have also commented on the state of the game on the base PS4 console. The version is still going to be unstable while CDPR continue to work on the game. The full quote is as follows;

Cyberpunk 2077 Spotted Back On PS Store.
Cyberpunk 2077 has been spotted on PlayStation digital stores once again as its return to the platform appears imminent. The game has not been available on PlayStation since it was removed shortly after its calamitous launch. No official word yet from CD Project Red or Sony on the matter.
It Is Up To Sony
Cyberpunk 2077, for all of its flaws still, is a hugely better game now than it was when it launched.

During CDPR's most-recent investors call, Michal Nowakowski discussed the removal from the PS Store and outlined the fact that the decision is ultimately down to Sony and SIE.
" We have published several patches... Each and every one of them brings us closer to going back to the PSN store...
" However, the final decision, you have to understand, belongs to Sony. We do believe we’re closer than further, but of course, the final call is theirs, so let’s wait and see."
Throughout this discussion, it was also reiterated that a return to the PS Store would result in a sales spike across all platforms as it seems like CDPR see this as a sign that Cyberpunk 2077 has reached a benchmark standard as a game.

PS Store Removal

In the statement issued by CD Projekt Red, they also confirmed that they would be offering refunds for everyone who purchased a digital version of the game and was "not willing to wait for updates".

When Will It Be Back?
At the earliest, Cyberpunk 2077 is expected to make a return to the PS Store in February 2021. However, there are no guarantees and specifics.
CD Projekt Red are due to launch a second major patch soon, alongside the promise of free DLC in a similar vein to The Witcher 3's content.
If the "February Patch" continues to improve the game, we could see it added back to the PS Store sooner than we think.

However, there is speculation that this update will have to delayed further following the recent attack on CDPR's internal servers.
There is no word on whether this has interrupted the development improvements underway, although a lot of people believe this could well be the case.
