The studio, which boasts an impressive track record, has been drip feeding information about its upcoming showstopper of an entry - and as per usual, fans have been speculating as to what they have in store for them.

And with the all the recent delays due to the global pandemic, in addition to Cyberpunk 2077's own delayed release date - it's safe to say they're hoping for some good news soon.

Thankfully, more information about Cyberpunk's DLC has been shared, which tells us more about how they're going to deliver on what's set to be one of the all time gaming greats.

DLC

For those who were lucky, and wise, enough to play the Witcher series, you'll be familiar with the extensive DLC on offer with The Witcher III.

Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine Expansion packs were more than just a mere few extra quests and a bunch of weird and wacky armour colours.

Rather, they included an enormous new region to explore, epic plots with branching narratives and tons of amazing looking accessories...you even got your own house!

We've already been told that Night City, the location for CyberPunk 2077, is absolutely massive and has multiple areas to explore. It's a safe bet to assume we'll get further areas to unlock with any DLC.

However, Cyberpunk 2077 has a large element of customisation available, so it's likely we'll see new cosmetic features being made available also.

Release date

CyberPunk 2077 was delayed from its original release date once before, however now it is on track for 17th September 2020.
