Call of Duty is a franchise known for over-the-top single-player campaigns, creepy zombies modes and explosive multiplayer. Luckily, all three of these are back in full force this year. Here's what you should know about its campaign and whether Vanguard has a difficulty trophy or achievement.
Call of Duty: Vanguard release date
Call of Duty: Vanguard finally launches worldwide on Friday, November 5th. This is another instalment in the annual Call of Duty games, following up Black Ops Cold War last year.
This means we will likely see something brand new next year around a similar time.
Is there a difficulty trophy/achievement?
To put it simply, yes there are difficulty trophies this time around. For beating the game on any difficulty, you unlock the silver trophy "Phoenix Extinguished". If you beat the game on veteran mode, you unlock the gold trophy "The Tip of the Spear"
You can get both trophies by finishing the game on veteran but that is a little easier said than done. We don't know how long the campaign is just yet but, if it's like previous entries, we can guess it will be around the 10-hour mark. You had better get practicing those skills to get these trophies.
Some general tips
In veteran modes, bots tend to throw lots of explosives. If you want to avoid getting killed by a wild frag, you have to keep moving. Avoid sprinting wildly and, instead, move tactically from cover to cover.
While cover is good, weapons are more important. Make sure to explore maps and pick up two good weapons where you can. This has the added bonus of filling up your ammo too. With veteran mode, you should probably take confrontations easy, focusing on single enemies at a time. As you leave cover, do it slowly and only try and hit a handful of shots. If you keep all this in mind, you should be able to get through it.
