Minecraft is loaded with opportunities to do whatever you want to do. If you want to hunt down creatures, you can do that. If you're more of a building creator, you can focus on that too.
With the release of Minecraft Caves & Cliffs Part one, it seems that now is a pretty great time to start hunting for brand new textures. Here are some of the best choices.
Latest - Majestica
The Majestic Resource Pack mixes a little fantasy and a little grit alongside some genuine prettiness. If you want something a little more detailed, this is a solid pack.
This pack will only see more updates as we go on.
Some New Packs
As the latest update grows more and more, new texture packs will hit the market, here are some more worth paying attention to. Dramatic Skys adds brand new skys to the game, making the game much more atmospheric.
Moving from here, Luna HD is a bit of a strange pack, making Minecraft look like a unity project with big textures and a certain shine. If that sounds like your kind of thing, check it out.
How to Use Texture Packs in Minecraft
First, there are tonnes of texture packs you can use from inside Minecraft bedrock edition itself. Go into the marketplace and you can find them to purchase. If you prefer your texture packs a little rawer but 100% off the price, here's how to do that.
First, find a pack you like the look of and download it. After this, boot up Minecraft Java and click on the options menu.
From here, click into the "Resource Packs..." tab and then click "Open Pack Folder" to find your folder in your computer. Move the texture pack into this folder and Minecraft will find it in your "Resource Packs..." section.
Click on the pack you want to use, then click done and the game will boot up with your new pack. Now that you know this, here are some of the best packs currently available. We've avoided Ray Tracing texture packs as they're less easy to find and much harder to run.

oCd
Forgiving the somewhat ironic name, the oCd texture pack is satisfyingly blocky, with easy-to-understand textures and a subtle weirdness. There's something very strange about going into a cave to find simple, one colour blocks.
