Turtle Rock Studios' Back 4 Blood is the spiritual successor to the Left 4 Dead series in the best way. It expands on what made Left 4 Dead great and makes improvements to bring this flavour of Zombie-killing into the modern age. One thing you can do is get Weapon Attachments for your firearms - these are vital in improving your chances of survival. Here's everything you need to know about them.
WEAPON ATTACHMENTS - How do you get them?
Weapon Attachments in Back 4 Blood can be hard to get at times, but there are a few things to look out for and a couple of ways to get your hands on some.
Firstly, you can purchase Weapon Attachments in the Safe Room - although, you might not get what you want. Every time you visit a Safe Room - including the Safe Room at the start of a Run - you'll be able to find a Red Crate that you can interact with. It's sort of like a Buy Station in Warzone - interacting with it will open up a shop.
This shop is somewhat limited, however, you can spend the Copper you find during each Run here and get a couple of Weapon Attachments. Each Safe Room Shop always has two Weapons and two Weapon Attachments on offer. These are random and more often than not, don't help your case. However, sometimes, you can find a bargain on an important Magazine Weapon Attachment.
If you want to get a Weapon Attachment from the Safe Room Shop, it'll cost you Copper - the better rarity the Weapon Attachment, the more Copper it will set you back. You can also buy throwables, healing items, and upgrades here. So it's worth checking one out every time you can.
You can also get Weapon Attachments in Back 4 Blood while on a Run - when you're out in the world, there's a lot of loot to be had.
During a Run, there will be containers similar to the Red Crate in the Safe Room for you to interact with. All you need to do is open these up to find Weapon Attachments, lootable items, and even new Weapons in larger containers. It's important to note that this takes time and you should make sure your team is covering you - or the coast is clear - before opening one up. It only takes a few seconds, but that could be the difference between life and death.
