Seems like Xbox users are in for a couple of surprises this year as there are some big unannounced games coming to those consoles.
Two unannounced games
This is not a recent rumour, with some people speculating that Microsoft still hasn't announced their full lineup for this year.
The rumor was fueled after an Xbox Wire article about exclusives mentioned that there are more titles incoming.
Next one to tease this was Angel Kavazov, a developer from EA DICE, on a post in the ResetEra forums. Keep in mind that this is the team behind a couple of big first-person shooter franchises like Battlefield or Star Wars: Battlefront.
But the teases hasn't stopped...
New hint
Jez Corden, a reporter from The Windows Central site, appeared on the most recent episode of "The Xbox Two" podcast. When asked about his most anticipated games for this year, he dropped a new hint.
“I know of at least two games, big games, that aren’t on that list that are coming from Xbox in 2021”, mentioned Corden. “So yea, I’m not gonna, I’m not gonna say what because I don’t want to ruin the team’s surprise, they should get to announce that”.
The big takeaway from this is that he assures that these are BIG titles, which mean the surprise is gonna be a lot better.
When will these titles be revealed?
As to where these titles might be revealed, we don't know yet.
At the time of writing, Microsoft still hasn't announced a new showcase or special livestream, so that option is discarded for now.
With the uncertainty that the pandemic brings, it difficult to tell if big events such as E3 or Gamescom will take place as normal. The only thing we can do for now is to wait for any official announcement from the organizers.
