WWE 2K23: How to break the announce table

WWE 2K23 is finally here, which means you can enter the ring now and start using your favourite superstars and begin replicating their moves.

One such move often seen on WWE TV is the breaking of the announce table, with many a Superstar planted through the table in imaginative ways.

The good news is, you can also do this in WWE 2K23! You'll have to build to it, but you can once again put opponents through the announce table in this year's game.

How to break the Announce Table

Breaking the announce table is one of the most satisfying things to do in WWE 2K23, especially when you're in the middle of a brutal fight with a challenging opponent.

Not every Superstar can perform this move, you will need to select one with the 'table finisher' skill.

In order to put someone through the announce table, there are a few things you'll need to do first.

Firstly, you'll need to build up enough damage and stamina to earn a finishing move.

Finishing moves can be earnt by dishing out consistent damage to your opponent, or through reversing a finisher or signature manoeuvre.

After you've done that, you'll need to set the table, just like any good host.

By approaching the announce table, you'll be prompted to remove the top of the table by pressing L1 on PlayStation or LB on Xbox.

This is a vital step, as you cannot put someone through the announce table without removing the top parts.

Once the table is removed, you'll need to place your opponent in the centre of the table and ensure they're resting on it, stunned.

From there, you will be prompted to perform your finisher.

The rest, as they say, is history, and your chosen WWE 2K23 Superstar will perform an announce table-breaking move and immediately cause huge damage, and stun, your opponent.

Note, you can only break the announce table once, unless you're in a custom arena where two tables are present.
