Following the franchise's recent success, fans are already looking ahead to the possible launch of WWE 2K23 next year.
Here's everything we know so far about whether WWE 2K23 is indeed being made and what kind of release date fans can expect.
Will there be a WWE 2K23?
Yes! We can definitively offer the good news that WWE 2K23 has been confirmed, and is likely already in development.
After WWE 2K22 managed to help the franchise recover from the failures of WWE 2K20, there have been high hopes for the series moving forward.
Major game modes like MyGM and MyFACTION introduced in WWE 2K22 delivered on some levels, but in many ways felt more like the base level attempts at modes that could continue to grow in coming years.

We got official confirmation that WWE 2K23 is on the way back in early August 2022 thanks to some official financial reports by Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of 2K.
The confirmation also revealed that WWE 2K23 was targeted for "Fiscal 2023," meaning it should be released by March 31, 2023, when Take-Two's Fiscal Year resets.
When will WWE 2K23 come out?
Nothing has been confirmed just yet, but as mentioned above they are at least targeting to have the game out prior to March 31, 2023.
This initially left open the possibility of an October 2022 release in line with the release window from previous years, but that possibility seems to have come and gone.
At this point, we predict the WWE 2K23 release date will be Friday, March 10, 2022, but that's yet to be officially announced.
Most new details about WWE 2K23 are likely to arrive in January 2023, which would match the reveals for WWE 2K22.
It would also work out well tin timing those announcements near Royal Rumble 2023 which will kickoff the road to WrestleMania 39, expected to happen just a few weeks after WWE 2K23 is released.
