AEW Fight Forever will 100% release on the Xbox Series X. It's been confirmed that the game will release across next-gen and current-gen consoles, with a standardised price point across the board.
Whilst this is a definite positive, it does likely mean that there won't be too many next-gen advancements in the game, but we could be proved wrong on that front.
It looked like the most likely AEW Fight Forever release date would be September 2022, however, this predicted date was clearly false.

Whilst we may not know the actual release date of the game, we do know some of the main modes and match types that will feature.
Early details and reports by both Fightful Select and Mike Straw of SGO tipped off that story mode would be a primary focus for AEW Fight Forever, and there were early mentions that creation modes and online multiplayer were also set to be included.

Intergender matches and visible blood during hardcore matches were announced early on and have since been confirmed through official trailers.
