World of Warcraft's Timewalking Dungeon Event is back, and while month featured Mists of Pandaria content, this time around, players will be able to return to some classics of Legion.

With that in mind, here's everything the new WoW Shadowlands Legion Timewalking Dungeon Event has to offer.

WoW Shadowlands Legion Timewalking Release Date & Time

World of Warcraft's Legion Timewalking Dungeon Event begins on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 and ends on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, lasting the usual one week.

When the event initially launched at the end of 2021, it lasted two weeks and was extended an additional two more mainly due to the Mage Tower. Now that the Mage Tower has become a permanent feature in the game, there's still a chance that it could get extended once again.

Legion Timewalking Event Features

As always, each Timewalking Event brings on the usual features such revisiting iconic dungeons for Timewarped Badge loot, Cosmetic items, mounts, and more.

But it doesn't stop there!

BACK IN TIME: Players will be able to travel to the past to take on Legion dungeons once again.

Players can talk to Ta'hsup by the Great Vault in Oribos to obtain a Timeworn Keystone, allowing them to run Legion Timewalking dungeons in the Mythic+ difficulties.

They will be able to run the following dungeons:

  • Black Rook Hold
  • Court of Stars
  • Darkheart Thicket
  • Eye of Azshara
  • Neltharion's Lair
  • Vault of the Wardens

Additionally, as opposed to other Timewalking dungeons which scale players down to the dungeon's original item level, Legion Timewalking dungeons will instead scale players up to the correspondent Shadowlands Mythic+ item level.

Mythic+ Loot and Great Vault

To add to the Legion Timewalking Mythic+, players will also be awarded loot in the Great Vault.

Legion Timewalking Mythic+ loot will follow the same rules as the ones from Shadowlands Mythic+, dropping at a maximum ilvl of 262 at +14 and higher.

Completing Legion Timewalking Mythic+ dungeons will go towards the Great Vault requirements counter, but the expansion's loot itself cannot show up in the Great Vault.

Mythic+ Affixes

Legion Mythic+ Dungeons have their own affixes that differ from the regular Shadowlands rotation. Similar to Level 10+ Dungeons having a different affix each season, Legion Mythic+ has its own special affix, Infernal.

CHALLENGE: There will be more to deal with than just bosses

Infernal makes it so specific Infernal Beacons can be found near some bosses. Activating a Beacon or engaging the boss nearby will trigger a Legion invasion.

This week players can look forward to Tyrannical, Bursting, Volcanic, and the Legion Timewalking specific, Infernal.

Other Legion Timewalking Event Features

Apart from the bulk that is the Legion Timewalking Dungeons and Mythic+, the event brings on the usual Timewalking rewards earned through collecting Timewarped Badges.

This includes:

  • 164 ilvl loot
  • Cosmetic items
  • Heirloom Tokens
  • Reputation Tokens
  • Crafting Reagents
  • A Mount

Players can purchase these from Aridormi in Legion Dalaran next to the Flight Master.
