The WoW Dragonflight Season 2 Mythic+ Dungeon Rotation has been revealed, bringing on eight different dungeons into the mix.
A new season in World of Warcraft means a brand-new Mythic+ rotation and for Dragonflight Season 2 that won't be any different. The brand-new season will continue where season one left off and complete the final four remaining Dragonflight dungeons.
In addition to that, affixes, particularly, seasonal affixes, will be getting a look in the new season.
WoW Dragonflight Season 2 Mythic+ Dungeon Rotation REVEALED
Dragonflight Season 2 will feature a brand-new Mythic+ dungeon rotation. In the season, players will be able to enter and complete the four remaining dungeons from WoW Dragonflight and four that will be returning from previous expansions.
The first season of the expansion had dungeons from the Legion, Warlords of Draenor, and Mists of Pandaria expansions. But now, for the first time in Dragonflight, players will take on dungeons from the Cataclysm and Battle for Azeroth expansions.
Here is the list of eight dungeons:
- Halls of Infusion (Dragonflight)
- Brackenhide Hollow (Dragonflight)
- Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr (Dragonflight)
- Neltharus (Dragonflight)
- Neltharion's Lair (Legion)
- Freehold (Battle for Azeroth)
- Underrot (Battle for Azeroth)
- Vortex Pinnacle (Cataclysm)
The brand-new rotation contains Mythic+ fan favorites such as Neltharion's Lair and Freehold and it also sees Vortex Pinnacle making its Mythic+ debut for itself and the Cataclysm expansion.

WoW Dragonflight Season 2 Mythic+ Affixes, removal of Thundering
Mythic+ affixes will be getting a stern look in WoW Dragonflight Season 2. Most notably, the Thundering seasonal affix will be removed, and no affix will replace it.
In a group interview, World of Warcraft Associate Game Director Morgan Day told Dot Esports, "One major change we’re making is we’re actually just not going to have a level 10 [affix], which is to say the seasonal affix, like Thundering. There won’t be a replacement for Thundering and Thundering is being retired.”
With no seasonal affix, dungeons will continue to scale indefinitely in difficulty in Dragonflight Season 2. Any keystone past level 10 keeps its same affixes and just increases in difficulty, similar to Legion expansion's old Mythic+ system.
