WoW Classic Wrath of the Lich King is moving fast, and things are just getting started.
With tons of content in store, here's the WoW Classic WotLK phase schedule so far and what we can expect from future phases.
WoW Classic WotLK Phase Schedule & Content Roadmap
The WoW Classic Wrath of the Lich King phase schedule has yet to be officially revealed.
Based on the original WotLK release and previous Classic launches, however, here's what we expect:
Phase 1
WoW Classic WotLK Phase 1 centers on the return of the infamous Naxxramas raid, joined by The Eye of the Eternity and The Obsidian Sanctum.
All of these raids went live on October 6th at 6pm EST.
Along with these new raids, Phase 1 also features the first arena season for WotLK, Arena Season 5.
This will give players plenty of content to fight through across 10 and 25-man raids, PVP, heroic raids, and heroic dungeons.
- New Raids: Naxxramas, The Eye of Eternity, The Obsidian Sanctum
- Arena Season 5: New PVP rewards and ladder

Phase 2
WoW Classic WotLK Phase 2 will center on the massive Ulduar raid.
While we don't have any release date info just yet, based on previous WoW Classic launch schedules, Phase 2 will likely kick off around mid-December, and the patch is currently live on the PTR for testing.
New Raid: Ulduar
Phase 3
WoW Classic WotLK Phase 3 is expected to introduce the Trial of the Crusader and Onyxia's Lair raids as well as the Argent Tournament world event in Icecrown. This event will include several new mounts, rare gear, pets, and more.
Based on previous WoW Classic pacing, Phase 3 will likely begin around late February.
New Raids: Trial of the Crusader (considered a middle ground between dungeon and raid), Onyxia's Lair
New World Event: Argent Tournament

Phase 4
WoW Classic WotLK Phase 4 will likely introduce what many consider to be the most iconic raid in World of Warcraft history, Icecrown Citadel (ICC).
This raid will captivate players as they fight to conquer the Lich King in his home. But further, the addition of new Heroic dungeons as well as changes to Heroic dungeons between phases as discussed by Blizzard already should keep other content just as fresh.
Based on previous WoW Classic pacing, Phase 4 will likely arrive around early May.
New Raid: Icecrown Citadel
New Heroic Dungeons
Phase 5
While players will spend most of WoW Classic WotLK Phase 5 still fighting to defeat Icecrown Citadel, it will also introduce the final new content to the game in The Ruby Sanctum.
The Ruby Sanctum is an expanded instance from the Wyrmrest Temple raids, giving strong gear and acting as a bridge for players struggling to complete ICC.
Based on previous WoW Classic pacing, Phase 5 will likely release around late July.
New Raid: The Ruby Sanctum
