World of Warcraft: Classic's newest expansion, Wrath of the Lich King, has brought with it tons of new features and content. This includes the first hero class, the Death Knight, a new continent in Northrend, and much more. Amongst this is brand-new raids, and in this case, Eye Eternity is one of the first players will encounter in the expansion.
Released in what was effectively Wrath of the Lich King Classic Phase 1, the raid that houses Malygos, the former Aspect of the Blue Dragonflight, launched alongside two other raids, Naxxramas which made a return from Vanilla, and Obsidian Sanctum that like Eye of Eternity, is also a single-boss raid.
For this expansion, players don't have to do anything fancy to enter it and begin killing bosses, but for Eye of Eternity specifically, there's one thing you must do in order to enter the raid.
How to unlock Eye of Eternity in WoW Classic WotLK
Unlike Vanilla Classic and The Burning Crusade Classic, players participating in the Wrath of the Lich King Classic expansion won't need to get attuned. This means no grinding, no doing dungeons in order to do other ones—none of that. Instead, all they'll have to do is fly over to the designated location and zone in.
This is the case for Naxxramas and for Obsidian Sanctum. However, when it comes to Eye of Eternity, that's a bit different as you need to grab a quest first in order to enter the raid. Thankfully, the quest is not only fairly simple to complete but most importantly simple to grab. All you have to do is have a Heroic Key to the Focusing Iris which is obtained by defeating Sapphiron in Naxxramas either in 10-man or 25-man.
Upon taking down Sapphiron, he'll drop the Key to the Focusing Iris which is a quest. Grab the quest and turn it in, that's it. Each raid only needs one to enter Eye of Eternity.
