The second and last VCT event in 2022 is here. Taking place in Copenhagen, this is the final chance to earn VCT points for the Valorant Champion's event in September 2022.
12 lucky teams will have the opportunity to fight for the title. Teams will be from different regions worldwide, with each region having a specific number of teams allowed.
The teams will join forces on July 10 and compete for as many as 1k VCT. This guarantees the first-place team a ticket to VCT Champions.
Who has qualified for VCT 2022?
So far, only two teams have qualified for the event that will grant them access to the champion's event. Both hailing from EMEA, two out of three of EMEA available have now been taken.
Fnatic and Guild Esports have both worked hard to qualify and have finally made it. Their performances in the EMEA Stage Two Challengers showed that they are worthy of such a prestige place in Copenhagen VCT 2022.
The two teams will fly down to Denmark next month to represent the EMEA region on the international stage in front of a live audience.
Guild Esports qualified
Guild were impressive as they finished top of the charts. This lead them to the playoffs where they defeated M3 Champions 2-0 with a best out of three.
Guild are relatively new to the esports scene, so this will be their first international event that they play at.
Fnatic qualified
Fnatic are often included in many esports events, whether it be League of Legends or Valorant, the team have a strength that makes a formidable foe. In fact, they have represented their team for every single VCT even besides one.
This event will be the fourth VCt event that the team has competed in.
Who is left to qualify?
The four other EMEA teams, M3 Champions, FunPlus Phoenix, Ascend, and Team Liquid are about to compete in the VCT EMEA Stage Two Challengers. This event will finish in three days on June 24. This article will be updated with the final team to represent the EMEA.
