Snowy Escape Location - Mt. Komorebi
We now know that Snowy Escape will be set in 'the majestic and serene world of Mt. Komorebi'.
The Japanese-inspired world will introduce a number of new activities, ranging from relaxing in the mountain’s onsen bathhouse or taking a mindful walk to pushing your Sim to the limits with exciting and dangerous sports such as skiing, snowboarding and rock climbing.

New Features
We now know several new features coming with the Expansion Pack - they include the following:
Residential and Vacation combination
That's right, for the first time in the sims 4, Snowy Escape will have both rediential homes and rental lots for vacationers.
Mt. Komorebi is made up of three primary neighbourhood to either take a dream vacation in or make into a winter home.
New Create a Sim Items
The new DLC will include more than 130 new Create a Sim items including winter activity wear and both modern and traditional Japanese-inspired clothing.
Similarly, Snowy Escape features traditional and modern furniture and unique architectural styles, including:
- Shoji doors, windows and screens
- Tatami mats and paper lanterns
- Decorative koi fountains
- Rock gardens shaded by Japanese maple trees
New Activities
Mt. Komorebi is also home to a number of new activities, both relaxing and thrilling, including:
- Skiing and Snowboarding
- Sledging
- Rock Climbing
- Hiking Trails
- Natural hot springs
- New foods and drinks around the kotatsu table
All-New Lifestyles and Sentiments Features
Snowy Escape introduces Lifestyles and Sentiments features, adding more depth to your Sims' personalities and relationships with each other.
There will be up to 16 Lifestyles that will manifest in relation to a sim's actions and habits, which will change their behaviour mot than Create a Sim traits, reflecting your Sims' life experiences.

Sentiments are also new and will determine how Sims feel differently about certain shared experiences, ultimately having a lasting impact on Sims' relationships with one another.

A recent map leak from Youtuber lilsimsie looks to have been confirmed as the real deal by the official artwork!
