Mt. Komorebi
With the new pack comes the first ever world to include both residential and vacation lots.
Not only that but this feature will become available for all other worlds too!
There are three primary neighbourhoods all with their own personalities and environments.
This pack is heavily centred around Japanese culture, something which can be hard to do, but we think EA has done a great job.

Fans have been desperate to see more diversity in the game and we think this is a step in the right direction.
Mt. Komorebi has to be one of the best worlds so far, it’s absolutely beautiful and one of the most unique settings we’ve seen.
Build/Buy & CAS
Snowy Escape is big on CAS - you’ll see 130 new items which are of course Japanese inspired, whether this be everyday wear or traditional.
Get ready to make the home of your dreams with build/buy.
This pack includes traditional and modern furniture including items such as shoji doors (sliding doors containing translucent paper - anime fans you’ll know what they are), paper lanterns, Japanese maple trees and more.

The detailing in the texture is insane, following from Journey To Batuu it looks like the team are constantly one-upping themselves.
Winter Sports
I’ve always wanted to learn to ski or snowboard but never had the opportunity - now at least my sim can!
Get your winter gear on and hit the alps, there are even different levels of difficulty for sims with higher or lower skills.

I may not be the most athletic person in the world, but I love a walk or hike when I get the time, things shouldn’t be any different for my sims. Climb to Mt. Komorebi’s peak either alone or with your friends and family.
Lifestyles & Sentiments
With Snowy Escape comes Lifestyles and Sentiments, get ready for a personality/social overhaul.
Even after a few social interactions I can see how impactful this change actually is on the way sims treat each other and events.
