The highly anticipated Season 13 has finally arrived at Rocket League and it brings a plethora of content. Season 13 theme is the 90s and early 2000s of racing, the golden era of motorsport.
This season will introduce a new Rocket Pass, new skins, goal explosions, and even the Farmstead and Wasteland arenas have a new look. The Rocket League menu interface has changed, and the new Cross-Game trade system has also arrived.
So, without further ado, let's find out everything about Rocket League Season 13.
Rocket League Season 13 release date
The Rocket League Season 13 went live on 6 December and introduced many changes.
However, the Rocket League community isn't thrilled about Season 13, with many players saying this is "By far the worst season ever released" or that it has "The worst pass of all time".
Most of this criticism is direct to the fact that Rocket League ended player-to-player trading. This is something that turned the community against Psyonix, and it seems that sentiment isn't going away any time soon.
Now, let's take a look at what Season 13 brings to the game.
Season 13 Rocket Pass
The Season 13 Rocket Pass has 70 tiers and offers a plethora of rewards. Among those rewards, we have the Cyberspace Goal Explosion, the Demo Disc 20XX Player Anthem, and the Travel Case Topper.
There are many other rewards such as car skins, goal explosions, player anthems, and unique wheels, among others. All of the skins have a retro look, which makes sense since the theme of this season is the 90s and early 2000s.
New Rocket League interface
As mentioned above, Season 13 brought a new look to the Rocket League menu. The new menu features a "squared-off design", where each submenu has a "streamlined layout".
Most players aren't thrilled about these changes, but as mentioned above, the general community reaction to Season 13 was negative. Whether these menu changes are for the better or worse it's up to each player to decide for themselves.
Season 13 tournament rewards
The Rocket Pass isn't the only way to earn rewards in Season 13. Tournament rewards are back once again and provide players the chance to earn many different things.
Players can earn cool hats, incredible-looking goal explosions, plenty of unique Decals, wheels, and player anthems, among others. The more tournament wins you get, the better rewards you will receive.
It's also worth noting that, new tournament rewards will be included throughout Season 13. So make sure to win as many games as possible if you want to get your hands on some fantastic rewards.
Cross-game ownership is here!
The Cross-game ownership system is finally being implemented in Rocket League. This system allows items that have the Cross-Game attribute to show up on players' Fortnite Locker if they are using the same Epic Games account.
For now, the Octane, Jäger 619, Cyclone, and Lamborghini Huracán STO are the only Cross-game card bodies in Rocket League. The Cross-game items are also part of the Trade-In system, which allows players to trade items for others of higher rarity.
It's worth noting that, the full list of Cross-Game trade-in rules will be announced soon.
