Season 8 is here in Rocket League, and the Sovereign Krew reigns supreme. Fans have taken soccar to the streets with the new Honda Civic Type-R, and are working their way though a brand new Rocket Pass.
There's more coming in Season 8 though, as now we have a brand new hoops arena, for the first time in Rocket League. Here's everything we know so far about the new arena, and when it will be playable.

Rocket League New Hoops Arena
The Block Arena is here, a brand new hoops court in Rocket League. The arena flies in the face of Dunk House, as a new outdoor court, and is a brand new place to make a name for yourself on the streets.
Hoops will be taking over the competitive extra mode slot for the duration of the event, so don't miss out on the chance to prove yourself. The event will come to a close on the 18th of October.
Block Party Rewards
Six brand new challenges have been announced for the event, with some exclusive rewards in store to celebrate. Fans will be able to earn the Double Dribble Topper, Game Time Player Anthem, a Very Rare Drop, and huge XP Rewards.
Looking for the soundtrack to your next big win? Players can take The Block back to the ‘80s with the shredding Jump Player Anthem, penned by the legendary Van Halen! This synth-heavy hit single is perfect for your next slam dunk and will be available in the Item Shop for a short time during The Block Party.
