Vault by Vans has come together with fashion label Bianca Chandôn to reveal a new four-piece footwear collection releasing.

First established in 2014 by US skateboarder Alex Olson, Bianca Chandôn is a brand that favours designs inspired by '70s, '80s, and '90s culture. For instance, the label teamed up with Union Los Angeles in 2017 to release a full apparel collection themed around the '70s club scene and the rise of electric disco.

However, Bianca Chandôn's latest collaboration explores the stars and how we have become so familiar with the shape throughout our lives within mainstream media across four of the best Vans silhouettes of all time - the Old Skools, Authentics, Classic Slip-Ons, and Sk8-His.

That being said, here's everything we know about the release of the Vault by Vans x Bianca Chandôn footwear collection so far...

Vault by Vans x Bianca Chandôn Footwear Collection Release Date

Vans has confirmed that the entire four-piece footwear collection is available now as of 20 August 2022 via the official Vans store.

The sneakers are also out as of 23 August at selected Vans and Bianca Chandôn retailers like END. and KITH.

These release dates have taken place in both the US and UK, so you can check the collection out now from whichever side of the Atlantic you're on.

Although originally unknown, Vans official listing of the sneakers confirms the Authentics and Slip-Ons retail for £95 each.

The Old Skools then cost slightly more at £105, while the Sk8-His retail for £110 in adult sizing.

As mentioned, four sneakers are set to debut as part of the Bianca Chandôn, including new Old Skools, Authentics, Slip-On, and Sk8-His, with the star theme remaining consistent throughout.

The Old Skools come dressed in red with white side panels to match the laces and midsoles as well as to make the red five-point star pattern stand out.

On the topic of the midsoles, each of the sneakers comes with pre-worn rubber units underfoot as well as a distressed, faded look across the canvas-cotton uppers. As an aside, check out our guide to cleaning canvas shoes right here.

The Authentics feature a similar design to the Old Skools, with the sides, along with the heels and eyestays this time, featuring the five-point star pattern.

The colour scheme is then white combined with a light blue to completely contrast the previous design.

The final two sneakers come dressed in white and black, although the Sk8-Hi's severe distressed aesthetic gives it an almost grey look over the checkerboard-like star pattern.

The Slip-Ons are perhaps the least 'pre-worn' of the four, arriving with a much cleaner star pattern all over.

It's also worth mentioning Bianca Chandôn's signature features across all four of the shoe's midsoles to complete the collaborative design with a final flourish from Alex Olson's label.
