Tom Sachs legendary partnership with Nike continues with the unveiling of the NikeCraft "General Purpose Shoe", which is now expected to launch in several colourways.
This is the fourth installment in the collaborative NikeCraft project, which previously saw Sachs explore space travel with the "Mars Yard Shoe".
However, the latest design sees a more grounded and down-to-earth approach, with Sachs describing the creation as the “ordinary shoe for extraordinary people”.
With that in mind, these "General Purpose" trainers could very well be some of the best sneakers for summer thanks to their minimalist design and everyday wear inspiration.

Tom Sachs x NikeCraft General Purpose Shoe Release Date
The first "General Purpose" NikeCraft sneakers arrived on 10 June 2022 in full women's and men's sizes.
However, no release date has been confirmed for the three remaining colourways thus far, so stay tuned for more information right here.
Tom Sachs x NikeCraft General Purpose Shoe Designs
As their name suggests, these "General Purpose" shoes are designed to be the ultimate everyday lifestyle sneakers with their relatively neutral tones and minimalist aesthetic.

You'll then find subtle pops of colour across the insoles, pull tabs, and Nike branding on the tongues in blue and orange respectively.
Underneath, you get classic gum rubber midsoles that encapsulate EVA foam cushioning for additional comfort.
Perhaps the most interesting aspect of the design though is the three-piece molded cup sole and signature lockdown straps for a more secure and stable fit, thus keeping with their everyday wear motif.
Tom Sachs x NikeCraft General Purpose Shoe Price
The first rendition of the Tom Sachs sneakers retail for $109.99 in adult sizes, so we'd expect that any remaining colourways will cost the same.
This price actually looks to be slightly cheaper than previous NikeCraft releases, which makes sense considering their general purpose theme.

The first place we'd recommend checking for them in stock is the NikeCraft store as this was the first place the sneakers dropped.
