The iconic duo of Stüssy and Nike is back once again to release a new Air Max 2015 "Fossil" colourway, leaving many fans wondering if either brand has announced a release date yet.

While some of Stüssy's most recent sneakers have centred around the classics, like the "Light Bone" Air Force 1 Mids, for this collaboration, the brand has focused on one of Nike's more obscure silhouettes, much as it did in 2020 with the release of the Zoom Spiridon Cage 2.

Once again though, it seems Stüssy has smashed it out of the park with its unique take on an often overlooked Nike sneaker.

That being said, here's everything we know about the "Fossil" Stüssy x Nike Air Max 2015s so far...

Stüssy x Nike Air Max 2015 Release Date Speculation

There doesn't appear to be a concrete release date confirmed by either brand just yet.

However, Stüssy recently took to Instagram to reveal the launch date of its Air Max 2013 capsule, which is due to arrive in the US, UK, and Europe on 5 August 2022.

While it's not clear whether the "Fossil" 2015s will feature as part of this collection, there are some rumours that suggest the sneakers could drop alongside the 2013s.

This is purely speculation though, so make sure you check back in to keep up-to-date with the latest news and announcements.

Stüssy x Nike Air Max 2015 Design

With their light tones and lightweight construction, these Air Max 2015s put in a strong case to be considered among some of the best sneakers for summer.

More specifically, the shoes arrive with hemp-like mesh uppers dressed almost entirely in light Fossil. As an aside, check out our guide to cleaning mesh sneakers right here.

These Air Max 2015s also feature flipped black canvas Swooshes towards the heels and Stüssy branding under the eyelets and tongue tabs, once again in black.

These details correlate to the grooved black rubber outsoles placed underneath the cream Air Max units for additional comfort.

Other notable inclusions are the co-branding on the insoles and in the centre of the outsoles to complete this collaborative design.

Much like the release date, the retail price of these Stüssy Air Max 2015s currently remains a mystery.

That being said, Air Max 2015s usually retail for somewhere around $190, so this should provide a good indication as to how much the Stüssy collaboration will cost upon the sneaker's arrival.

Where To Buy The Stüssy x Nike Air Max 2015

There are a couple of places we suspect these Air Max 2015s to arrive, the first being at the Nike store. Make sure you also sign up for push notifications on Nike's SNKRS launch page once a listing goes live to ensure you're completely prepared for their arrival.

Alternatively, you could try the Stüssy store under the new arrivals subsection.

If neither proves successful on release day, then we suggest keeping an eye on the resale market at StockX as an alternative place to buy once the sneakers drop.
