With the 2022 World Cup approaching fast, Nike has finally revealed what England's World Cup kits will look like.
Unveiled via Nike's World Cup press release, Phil Foden can be seen donning England's new red away strip ahead of the 2022 tournament alongside the new white and blue home jersey.
The kit definitely looks intriguing and, if the 2020 Euro kits were anything to go by, then England's latest jerseys should look great when teamed with the best football boots around right now on the pitch.
However, the Three Lions will undoubtedly be looking to do one better in 2022 and win the World Cup, a trophy that has alluded the country since its one and only victory in 1966.
Can England replicate its famous 1966 win this year? Time will tell, but here's everything we know about how the national team will look out in Qatar...
England 2022 World Cup Kit Release Date
After rumours of the kits launching in the summer, Nike has now confirmed that the England World Cup kits are out now as of 21 September 2022, a little over a month from the start of the competition.
Nike has dropped both the home and away strips in men's and women's plus Older Kids' sizes at this moment in time. Toddler sizes may also become available as a full kit at a later date, although this is yet to be confirmed by the brand.
With England down as one of the favourites to lift the trophy this winter, we'd recommend picking up a shirt fast as there's a chance the new kits could sell out. Stay tuned for details on where you can buy the kit right here.
England 2022 World Cup Kit Design
After leaks emerged of the kit ahead of time, the official listings for the home and away jerseys have now confirmed what England's World Cup kits will look like.
The home kit features a white and navy blue design, which looks to tie in with the iconic Euro 1996 Umbro jersey worn by legends such as Paul Gascoigne and Alan Shearer during the tournament.
As far as the away kit goes, England will rock a retro red shirt with a navy blue collar. The shorts and socks are also dressed primarily in red with navy accents to match the jersey. The England badge also features a unique blue hue to tie the navy and red colour scheme together.
Ultimately, this means Nike is reverting back to the classic red away strip popularised by one of the best retro football kits in the 1990 World Cup shirt, rather than continuing with the predominately blue tones we've seen in recent years.
