2022 has been an exciting year to be a Billie Eilish fan, particularly when it comes to fashion. However, the singer-songwriter's year isn't over yet as a new Billie Eilish x Nike Air Force 1 Low collaboration has been revealed just as 2022 comes to an end.

This low-top capsule features two colourways that follow on from the "Mushroom" and "Sequoia" AF1 Highs released earlier this year by featuring similar designs and tones.

As the previously released high-tops were some of the best sneaker collabs we'd seen at the time, these Lows certainly have high expectations to live up to.

So, how exactly do these sneakers compare to some of the best Air Force 1s from 2022? Let's take a closer look at the shoes to find out...

Billie Eilish x Nike Air Force 1 Low release date

Rumours of a Billie Eilish AF1 Low collaboration have been circulating for a while; however, a release date was unconfirmed until now.

According to Nike's press release, both the "Mushroom" and "Sequoia" colourways are out now as of 13 December at BillieEilish.com, and then globally on 14 December 2022.

We'd suggest acting fast though if you're looking to secure a pair because, given the popularity of Billie Eilish and the Air Force 1, it's likely they'll sell out quickly.

If you're still unsure though, then perhaps a closer look at their designs will help you decide whether or not these sneakers are for you.

Billie Eilish x Nike Air Force 1 Low designs

When it comes to the designs, both colourways feature just one tone throughout and a quilt-like texture across the uppers thanks to separate panels stitched together in a seemingly random fashion.

As touched on, the sneakers arrive in "Mushroom" and "Sequoia" tones respectively like their previous high-top relatives. However, there's more of a connection to the AF1 Highs than you might think.

Billie Eilish and Nike have used any leftover materials from the prior collaborative AF1s to create this new aesthetic on Bruce Kilgore’s classic silhouette.

The idea behind this is to "highlight the importance of recycling" and to, ultimately, "take better care of our planet" as Eilish describes in the press release.

So, not only is the design unique, but there's a positive message behind them. So, if you're now interested in a pair, here's what you can expect in terms of price...

Billie Eilish x Nike Air Force 1 Low price

Both the "Mushroom" and "Sequoia" colourways are currently listed on Nike's SNKRS launch page and, as a result, have confirmed price tags.

Both designs retail for $140 in adult sizing, although there's been no word on whether smaller and presumably cheaper kid's sizes will be made available yet.

We'll make sure to keep this article updated with any further information as and when it arrives, so stay tuned to find out more.
