With the 2022 World Cup on the horizon, intrigue is beginning to build around Argentina's new home kit for the competition, leaving many fans also wondering when we might see adidas announce a release date.

Argentina World Cup Home Kit 2022 Release Date
After rumours of the shirt's arrival began circulating, adidas has confirmed that Argentina's new home kit is out now as of 29 August 2022.
This aligns with how far in advance adidas typically releases its international kits ahead of World Cup competitions as the 2022 tournament is due to commence this November.
The away strip has also been released ahead of the competition. You can find the dark blue and purple jersey listed at adidas right now.
Argentina World Cup Home Kit 2022 Design
Although adidas has seemingly been inspired by some of the best retro football kits of the past with several of its latest football shirts, the new 2022 home strip looks to feature a more modern aesthetic akin to Argentina's 2021 home jersey.
The usual white and blue stripes appear across the front and back, whilst adidas branding, including the three stripes across the shoulders, arrives in black.
This matches the black shorts which are contrasted by alternative white branding down the sides.
You'll also find a golden sun embroidered onto the back of the neck as a symbol of Argentina and to reflect the motifs of the country's badge.
