Early images of Ajax's new away kit for the 2022/23 season have been leaked, leaving many fans wondering if adidas has revealed a release date yet.
The shirt features a patterned collar not too dissimilar to the recently leaked Manchester United home kit that appears to have been inspired by some of the best retro football kits from the past.
However, although the new Ajax kit is also made by adidas, the brand has opted for a slightly more modern aesthetic for the Amsterdam-based club's new away jersey.

Ajax Away Kit 2022/23 Release Date
Neither adidas nor Ajax has officially revealed the release date for the 2022/23 away kit at this moment in time.
However, as the Eredivisie season draws to a close, reports suggest next season's jersey could arrive in the coming weeks.
This estimate aligns with the release of Ajax's current away strip which debuted in early May, just before the start of the 2021/22 season.

Ajax Away Kit 2022/23 Design
Over the years, Ajax has had some amazing away strips including one of the best football kits from the 2021/22 season, so the club's latest away jersey has a lot to live up to.
Early images of the shirt suggest both the club and adidas have delivered yet again though with a simple yet stylish navy blue design.
The dark blue tone is then contrasted by bright red stripes across the shoulders in reference to the club's home strip.
You also get several yellow and gold accents that dress the badge, adidas logo, and the club's main kit sponsor.
The most interesting detail though is the geometric pattern across the collar and sleeves which can be seen in more detail via the rendered images below.
The diamond shapes utilise the same red and gold colour scheme as the rest of the kit, thus rounding off the design in a standout fashion.
However, keep in mind that while these leaks and renders are likely to be accurate to the final release, the actual design has yet to be revealed, so watch for any subtle differences once adidas releases more information.
