The adidas Crazy 1 "Stormtrooper" colourway is back after END. recently ran a raffle for a chance to purchase the sneakers via a draw ahead of their release.

Originally debuted by Kobe Bryant during the 2000 championship series, the sneakers were first known as "The Kobe" before being rebranded as the Crazy 1 in 2013.

The design was considered futuristic and unlike almost anything seen in the NBA at the time as designer Eirik Lund Nielson drew inspiration from the Audi TT Roadster's sleek silhouette.

Nowadays though, aspects of the Crazy 1s are now unlike some of the best basketball shoes around right now, although their box-like shape seems to have been particularly polarising when they first debuted.

Regardless of whether you like or dislike the design, the "Stormtrooper" colourway is making a comeback. That being said, here's everything we know about the sneakers so far.

adidas Crazy 1 Stormtrooper Release Date

The "Stormtrooper" Crazy 1s are out now having dropped on 22 July 2022.

That said, the sneakers appear to be highly sought-after, so make sure you act fast to secure your pair before they sell out.

However, it doesn't appear as though adidas has launched the sneakers in the US just yet, so make sure you check back in for more information as and when it arrives.

adidas Crazy 1 Stormtrooper Design

The "Stormtrooper" Crazy 1s look as though they closely resemble the originals, particularly as they arrive in the same white, black, and light grey colour scheme.

The sneakers also come with black, double foam collars for additional support around the ankles and the Crazy 1's unique toe bumpers for added protection around the toe boxes.

The shoes then sit on top of EVA midsoles according to END., while the outsoles come dressed in black with several light orange details to complete the design.
