After teasing an upcoming collaboration in his debut match for AEW earlier this year, chef-turned-rapper-turned-wrestler Action Bronson has now unveiled his New Balance 990v6 Baklava sneakers via Instagram.
The 990v6s have not long been released themselves, but we're already seeing a whole host of upcoming collaborations rumoured. However, the Action Bronson sneakers are the only confirmed drop so far.
Despite it being early days for the model, New Balance and Action Bronson certainly haven't held back with their design, opting to use almost every material and colour under the sun to create a pair of shoes that are bound to stand on feet, making them contenders for one of the best sneaker collabs we've seen this year.

Action Bronson x New Balance 990v6 Baklava release date
Not a huge amount was announced when the 990v6 collaboration was first announced. However, Action Bronson later revealed more via Instagram, confirming that the shoe is out now as of 17 March 2023.
The shoes are a high-profile collaboration and will no doubt sell out fast, so make sure you act quickly if you're interested in picking up a pair. If you're unsure though, then perhaps a closer look at the design will help you decide.
Action Bronson x New Balance 990v6 Baklava design
As mentioned, the Action Bronson 990v6 features an array of different materials and colours, making them some of the brightest, boldest New Balance sneakers we've ever seen.
To begin with, the base of the uppers appears to feature mesh dressed in bright green, while the rest of the shoes look as though they combine brown leather and suede mixed with grey New Balance branding.
Towards the heels, you'll find sections of purple and bright orange featuring the New Balance logo again, while underfoot you'll notice a two-toned blue ENCAP-cushioned midsole unit complete with black and blue outsoles.
On the tongues, Bronson's Baklava branding can be found alongside the 990v6 logo. Then, over the top, you'll find bright pink and purple rope laces.
So, we think it's fair to say Action Bronson and New Balance went all out with their design. They're certainly unique, but how much will it cost to own such a unique set of trainers?

Although not confirmed during the initial reveal of the shoes, the price tag has now been disclosed following the "Baklava" 990v6's release.
The shoes cost $220 in adult sizing, or £185 if you're from the UK. Sizes range from a Men's 4 all the way up to a Men's 15.

You can find the "Baklava" 990v6s listed exclusively on the Specializing in Life website, although stock looks as though it's limited so there's a chance they may sell out fast.
