Sony's newest PlayStation console hasn't been the easiest thing to pick up over the last few months. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Suez Canal issues and generally high demand has left many struggling to buy a PS5.
Now, though, as we head into the second half of the month... There are a few new PS5 console stock drops to talk about; Particularly, Amazon is going to be releasing some new PS5 stock this week. Here's everything we know about how you can get one.
Upcoming PS5 Restock Dates
Amazon is one of the retailers due to release PS5 stock next week, however, there are a couple of other places you can look for a console.
GAME Digital and Argos are both receiving huge PS5 console shipments and they are both due to release the stock over the next few days. The rumoured dates are below:
- Amazon - 15th to 23rd
- GAME Digital - 15th to 23rd
- Argos - 15th to 17th
In terms of the specific times, Argos usually releases its stock early in the morning - between 01:00 BST and 04:00 BST.
Amazon, however, releases their stock around 08:00 BST to 10:00 BST and GAME Digital are usually quite uniform in releasing their stock at 09:00 BST.
Tips & Tricks
One thing that's always helpful is to make an account on the retailer you want to buy a PS5 from. This means you can save your payment details onto your account, speeding up checkout times massively.
In addition to this, make sure you add the console to your online wishlist and/or add your name to a waiting list for a PS5 console. Of course, it might be easier to check on the websites yourself but this should mean you get a little bit of forewarning via email about when your chosen retailer is going to be releasing stock.
Having multiple tabs open is a good idea, for some places, however, you need to be careful about being caught out by the technologies in place to deter scalpers. It could also cause a few connection issues and slow down the process as a whole.
As always, it's worth keeping an eye on StockInformer too. Just in case.
