The announcement was made by 2K Games, with Cena's attributes showcased alongside an attire that closely replicated his Peacemaker character.

You read that right, John Cena of WWE fame has joined the playable roster in PGA Tour 2K23.
Arriving in the game on April 7, the subject of the reason WWE 2K23 Showcase Mode will be laying down his sweatbands and title belts and swapping them for golf clubs, as the WWE GOAT looks to become the dominator of the golfing world.
With 2K games developing both the PGA franchise and the WWE franchise, this crossover is a fun way for the company to cross over their stars.
Cena isn't the first, as we also saw long-time wrestler The Miz appear in promo videos for PGA Tour 2K23.
Whilst no other WWE Superstars were announced, it's left many wondering if we could see the likes of the Rock or Stone Cold turn up in the game, which would just be glorious fun.

Not only will Cena's arrival turn a few heads, but so will his insane array of stats that have been showcased.
Cena boasts a 100-power rating in the game, meaning his swing certainly won't be coming up short.
In fact, Cena's overall is incredibly impressive and places him amongst some of the best playable characters in the game.
This fun departure from the typical roster inclusions is a great way for 2K to expand their list of stars and we certainly want to see more of these additions made.
