Konami has just announced some HUGE news regarding the new free to play franchise, eFootball!

eFootball 2022 official title announced
Konami has announed, via thier Twitter page, that the official title of this year's game will be 'eFootball 2022'.
Konami has also outlined some future updates which will be coming to eFootball, including the following:
- Edit Mode
- PlayStation5 haptic feedback and adaptive trigger support
- Advanced ball trapping
- Power Pass, Power Shot and other special kicks
- Mobile controller support
- Full cross-platform matchmaking (PC, console and mobile)
eFootball 2022 release date revealed
As you can see from the Tweet in the above section, eFootball 2022's official release date has finally been announced too.
eFootball 2022 will launch on Thursday, 30 September 2021.
This is just two days before the launch of EA Sports' next release, FIFA 22.
The first major update will go live this Autumn and will include the following:
- Creative Teams
- New match modes
- New player types
The first update will also mark the launch of eFootball 2022 for iOS and Android devices.
Mobile App Overhauled
Konami has also announced that loads of changes will be coming to the mobile game too!
eFootball mobile will be available as an update to the existing PES 2021 app.
Current mobile users will be able to carry over many items once it launches this Autumn.
