Junker Queen to arrive in Overwatch 2 Beta Phase 2
As the main attraction for June 16th's reveal, the Junker Queen is set to be unveiled during the Wastelander animated short. She is picking up right where Sojourn left off as she will become Overwatch 2's next new hero.
The Junker Queen was teased in a short cinematic trailer where she can be seen getting ready to partake in what seems to be an arena-style brawl of some sort for the throne of Junkertown.
Characterized as tall and imposing, and described as "ruthless," the Junker Queen carries a large axe in one hand and a rifle in the other. She will be a new take on the tank role, as with both of her weapons, she'll be quite unique from the rest of the roster.
New map to arrive in Overwatch 2 Beta Phase 2
Also coming in the Overwatch 2 beta's second round of test is a completely new map.
During the first phase of the Overwatch 2 beta, players got to experience all four of the new maps coming to the franchise's sequel. These, of course, were the two push maps, Colosseo and New Queen Street, the Escort map, Circuit Royal, and the Hybrid map, Midtown.
With all of these four maps now revealed and playable, a completely new map is also on the horizon. As for what it could be, we'll have to wait for the reveal to find out!
