Xbox Series X: Microsoft reveals much needed Game Library overhaul

The launch of the Xbox Series X/S is right around the corner on November 10th.

Due to Microsoft going in the direction of accessibility, many new titles will be released side by side with the Xbox One.

They will also be optimizing older titles to make them look and play better on the new system.

These titles will be labelled as "Optimized for Xbox Series X|S".

Dashboard Update

Major Nelson revealed on Twitter what the new Xbox Series X/S Dashboard will look like, including showing the ability to filter by Optimized games.

On the new Dashboard players will see numerous logos overlaid on the game thumbnails.

The X|S logo indicates the game is Optimized for Xbox Series X|S.

These are games that are either playable on both Xbox One and Series X|S, as well as future titles that are only available on the Series X|S.

There is also a Game Pass logo which indicates games that you can play with your Game Pass subscription.

A new filter has been added in the Dashboard, allowing players to only show games that are Optimized for the Xbox Series X|S.

There is also the option to show Xbox One, or 360/OG Xbox games, the same as the Xbox One Dashboard.

Confirmed Optimized For Xbox Series X|S Games

As time goes on more games will become optimized for the system, allowing for better resolution and frame rates.

Here is the current list of games optimized for Xbox Series X/S.
