The PS5 launched earlier this year to rave reviews, with critics the world over hailing it as a PC rival along with the Xbox Series X.
However, its launch hasn't come without some issues, most often pertaining to the DualSense controller.
A new issue has cropped up recently involving the triggers, let's take a look now!
DualSense Trigger Woes
Now, the most recent issue is associated with the intelligent triggers on the new controller, which has been affecting many people.
Unfortunately, it renders the triggers incredibly sensitive. For those playing first-person shooters, this issue is a game-breaker.
In addition, the issue can lead to a complete loss of haptic feedback, which makes the DualSense's unique selling point almost useless.
With this issue happening so early in the PS5's lifecycle, who knows what other issues may arise soon.
Stick Drift
Similar to the above trigger issue, owners of the PS5 were quick to notice stick drift from their controllers.
Much like the trigger problems, the stick drift makes playing games like first-person shooters practically impossible. This is owing to the fact that aiming with the analog stick is made so difficult!
Hopefully, owners of the new DualSense controller can request a new unit under their current warranty.
However, with many people owning just one controller for their PS5, they may be without one for a short time.
PS5 Issues
Unfortunately for Sony, the issue's have not pertained solely to the controller either, but the console also.
Even before the console's full release, those with a test unit were reporting being unable to turn the console on.
Thankfully, many of this issues are now in the past, however, it just goes to show that even top of the line, up-to-date technology can experience teething issues too!
Thankfully, Sony has been quick to release updates to the software that have dealt with many issues with both controller and console itself.
