YouTube has just gone down on Monday morning and viewers are unable to load videos.
Update - YouTube Is Back
It appears the issue has now been fixed and YouTube is back online.
Original story below:
YouTube Is Down
Shortly before 12pm GMT Google's servers just went down, hitting YouTube, Gmail, and any other Google Platform such as Google Drive.
Viewers trying to access YouTube are greeted by this,
Are YouTube Fixing It?
YouTube have tweeted that they are looking into the problem and will hopefully have it fixed shortly.
Workaround
Tom Warren from The Verge figured out that YouTube still works if you aren't signed in.
He suggests using an incognito tab in Google Chrome, or your preferred browser, so the site doesn't log you in, then videos seem to work fine.
Things to do while YouTube is down
While you wait to be able to watch your favourite cat videos again, here are a few things you can do to pass the time.
You could play a video game, the PS5 and Xbox Series X recently released so if you managed to get one, show it some love.
Cyberpunk 2077 was also released last Friday so jump into that while you wait.
There are other video and streaming platforms out there too.
You could watch your favourite streamer on Twitch.tv
Or continue watching your favourite show on Netflix, Hulu, WWE Network etc.
