Is Tiny Tina's Wonderlands coming to Xbox Game Pass?

It's no secret that Microsoft rely on Game Pass to be a huge selling point for their consoles.

They are always looking for ways to further improve the overall value and offering of Xbox Game Pass and a major way of doing this is bringing third-party games onto the service from release. With Tiny Tina's Wonderlands out now, could it make headlines by opting to release on the service?

Let's take a look at what we know so far and what might happen between now and launch day.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands on Xbox Game Pass?

There are no plans in place for Tiny Tina's Wonderlands to launch on Xbox Game Pass. While plenty could change between now and release day, it would be a major surprise for something to be announced with less than one month to go.

Usually, these deals are in place and announced ahead of time to ramp up interest in the game and Gearbox will be confident that Wonderlands is not in need of any help beyond their own marketing.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands has appeared at a few major game conventions and shows and is Gearboxs's only major project that's nearing release. While Borderlands games have appeared on Game Pass and as part of PS Plus, they will be happy to let Wonderlands speak for itself and build a reputation before jumping into a service like Game Pass.

It's highly likely that once the game has been around for between 6-9 months - depending on the plan for downloadable content - it has a much better chance of appearing on Xbox Game Pass.

As an open-world RPG with co-op features, it's will be a prime target for Game Pass somewhere down the line. The same applies to PS Now but with the upcoming PlayStation Spartacus service on the way, perhaps it will land there instead.
