Elden Ring: Where to go After Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon

Elden Ring is a pretty huge game so it makes sense to not quite know what you're doing sometimes. If you're lost after taking down Rennala in Elden Ring, here's what you should know about what to do next.

Beating Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon

Beating Rennala is a challenge in itself. With two separate stages and tonnes of magic, you want to make sure your magic resistance is high for this one. This being said, you get one of the game's most important features right after this fight.

If you successfully beat her, you can respec your character to change around your build. Given you now have more knowledge of the game, this is a great chance to reshape the way you go about it.

Where to go after Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon

It's important to note that the way you explore the world is up to you. There's more than one path through almost every situation. This is just what we recommend for someone on their first playthrough of the game.

After you have beaten her, you want to leave Raya Lucaria Academy via the Main academy gate, where you can make your way north to the Grand Lift of Dectus. You can find the site of grace here on this interactive map.

Use this lift to get the Atlus Plateau, the next central area of the game. To use, you will need to find both halves of the Dectus Medallion.

Where to get the Dectus Medallion

The left half of the Dectus Medallion is much easier to find and collect. You have to go to Fort Haight (Here's a link to an interactive map) and get to the chest at the top of the tower to get it for yourself.

The second half of the medallion is in Fort Faroth in the Caelid region, a much more dangerous area. You can see it on this interactive map. This fort is tougher than the last but you can mostly run past it to the chest holding that piece.

After this, go to the grand lift and activate it.
