After years of waiting the game is finally here, and the AEW Fight Forever roster is one of the hottest questions around the new game. With plenty of stars to choose from and lots of up-and-coming talent, who is in and who is out of the game?
While the WWE 2K23 roster currently sits at a massive 248 characters, AEW Fight Forever is set to be a much tighter group of core wrestlers. So let's see who we will be fighting as when the game arrives at long last.
AEW Fight Forever roster
With the AEW Fight Foerver release now public, we can look ahead to the exciting roster that is being built. Pre-order listings are live, but you aren't going to order the game if you don't know that your favourite wrestlers will be in the game!
The AEW Fight Forever roster sits at 60 characters at the time of writing. It's made up of 46 men and 14 women, with four legends included in that count.
This is the full AEW Fight Forever Roster...
As you can see, that's a lot of people but it isn't everyone. Notable absences include two-thirds of the current AEW World Trios Champions Brody King and Buddy Matthews, along with Brian Pillman Jr, Claudio Castagnoli, Jungle Boy Jack Perry, Jake Hager, both members of Aussie Open Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis and AEW's most recent megastar signing Jay White.
We're hoping that a lot of the names not currently included in AEW Fight Forever will be added to the roster over time. Though ideally as free additions and not paid DLC. Speaking of which...
AEW Fight Forever DLC
Much like we've seen in WWE 2K23, AEW Fight Forever will offer a Season Pass that permits access to brand-new DLC packs released throughout the game's cycle.
Eight wrestlers have been confirmed to be added to the game via DLC, as part of four two-wrestler packs released throughout the year.
Those wrestlers and packs are:
FTR: Revival Pack (29 June)
- Dax Harwood
- Cash Wheeler
Limtiless Bunny Bundle (25 July)
- The Bunny
- Keith Lee
Hookhausen Very Handsome, Very Evil Pack (22 August)
- Hook
- Danhausen
These DLC packs have something for everyone, with some of these names worth their weight in gold for AEW.
