Team Heretics surprised many when they purchased Misfits' slot in the LEC for the 2023 season. Since then however, they've made even more of a splash, winning EU Masters with several upsets against top teams.
As the LEC new season approaches, the roster is finally taking form, as rumours are appearing about new signings. Ruby is the latest to be leaked, by anonimotum on Twitter, a relatively unknown Korean mid-laner that will provide a great identity to the team. Here's everything we know so far.

Ruby Signed to Team Heretics
Ruby comes to Team Heretics having played for the previous year in Rival ERL team, Unicorns of Love Sexy Edition. They won the prime league in Summer and made it to EU Masters, once again surprising many by storming the group stage.
Having made it to the quarter-finals though, they would face Team Heretics, and lost 3:2 to the eventual champions. Not to be outdone, Ruby now joins Team Heretics as they make the move to the LEC.
The Korean mid-laner has a hugely diverse champion pool, generally preferring control mages. That being said though, he is never afraid to pull out spicier picks like the Kassadin.
Team Heretics Roster LEC 2023
Ruby will join a few other names already confirmed for the Team Heretics LEC roster. Jackspektra will be retained from the LVP squad, an impressive ADC talent who will be a huge asset to the LEC.
Mersa is also effectively being retained but from the old Misfits lineup. Despite his mixed success on Misfits, Mersa is a very adaptable support, which will be a huge asset to a new team.
Team Heretics' Top laner and Jungler still remain a mystery, as tryouts are ongoing. With a number of big names up for grabs this season, including the Jankos himself, expect quite the starting roster when it finally takes form.
