Following initial teasers, Riot Games has revealed the return of a recent fan-favorite skin line, Spirit Blossom, just in time for the year's biggest international League of Legends tournament, Worlds 2022.
The line, which was part of a content-filled summer event in 2020 that introduced vibrant and colorful never before seen skins for the likes of Yone, and newly released Lillia at the time, will now douse nearly ten new champions in its spiritual colors.
Spirit Blossom 2022 skins revealed for LoL 12.19
The return of Spirit Blossom, a first-of-its-kind event that included the game's first in-game visual novel that had players complete missions and interacts with various champions in the Spirit Blossom universe, has now been officially marked down with the release of brand-new skins.
Champions like Syndra, Tristana, Soraka, Evelynn, Sett, Aphelios, Yorick, Darius, and Master Yi will all be joining this unique skin line, with Master Yi receiving a Prestige version.
The new skins have the champions dressed in Eastern-style clothing that's covered in Spirit Blossoms from head to toe, with some of them displaying added effects that include various wildlife such as wolves, butterflies, and more. For champions like Soraka, and even Tristana, clothing like this isn't that far off from the norm, but for champions like Evelynn, Aphelios, Yorick, and Darius, this is certainly a different look.
Official pricing for all of the skins is currently unknown, but by going by previous pricing, it's expected that some of these come with a 1350 RP price tag, with some of the Legendary skins such as Spirit Blossom Sett priced at 1820 RP.
The new Spirit Blossom skins and its event are expected to go live with Patch 12.19 on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. Although it's unclear whether or not all of the skins will be split across one patch or not.
