In Patch 12.11, League of Legends players will have the opportunity to turn off the post-game lobby chat. This option is now active but players will still be able to see the scores and charts, just not the team chat.
The default setting will keep it hidden, players must click on the text bar or press enter to use it and engage with other competitors.

Why has Riot made this change?
It has been speculated that this is another addition to the ability to turn off the chat in-game. Players would find themselves having toxic language hurled at them in the post-game chat instead of the in-game chat, so complaints from fans has prompted Riot to act.
The responses to this change have been mixed with comments on the League of Legends Dev Team Twitter post both supporting and not supporting the change. But the newest change is still just that, new. With time users may find it easier to manage.
Other changes?
The end-game screen was recently changed to provide a new UI which highlights challenges that were brought in in patch 12.9. The post-game stats are now split into two. First, a page about challenges will appear, which is followed by the usual KDA tab we know and love.
The Progression tab will show the splash art for the champion played, along with tracking LP gains, Mastery, and XP earned. Below that will be all of the challenges players are tracking and how much was advanced.
These additions are yet another quality of life addition to the game which will provide summoners with a sense of peace entering the rift, instead of feeling pressure to play perfectly.
